  • Bison Sweep the Tomcats in Annual Dig Pink Game

    Bethany College women’s volleyball hosted the Thiel Tomcats in a PAC contest Thursday evening. The Bison wore pink to help spread awareness for Breast Cancer for their annual Dig Pink Game. The green and white swept the Tomcats, 3-0 (25-21, 25-23, 27-25).

    The Bethany College men’s soccer team hosted the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets in a PAC contest Saturday afternoon. The Bison and Yellow Jackets went into a thrilling double overtime contest with the green and white winning the battle off a John Lee golden goal to give the Bison the victory.
  • Women's Soccer Wins Double Overtime Thriller

    The Bethany College women’s soccer team hosted the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets in a PAC contest early Saturday morning. The Bison and Yellow Jackets went into a thrilling double overtime contest with the green and white winning the battle off a free kick goal from the foot of Riley Meyers. Bethany defeated Waynesburg, 3-2.
  • Volleyball Splits on the Road

    Bethany College women’s volleyball traveled to Latrobe, Pa for a tri-match between Waynesburg Yellow Jackets and host Saint Vincent Bearcats. The Bison split on the day defeating Waynesburg, 3-0 (25-19, 25-12, 25-19) and fell to Saint Vincent 3-1 (25-12, 18-25, 19-25, 23-25).
  • Swimming and Diving Hosts Saint Vincent

    Bethany, W. Va. - The Bethany College men's and women's swimming and diving teams competed against Saint Vincent for a PAC contest early Saturday morning. Saint Vincent defeated the men 205-38, while defeating the women 213-23.
  • Cross Country Competes at Carnegie Mellon
    October 12, 2019
    The Bethany College cross country teams traveled to Schenley Park hosted by Carnegie Mellon early Saturday morning. The men finished 11th with 364 points while the women finished 14th with 390 points. Josh Sanderlin finished 53rd in 29:13:42. Danielle Williams finished 49th for the women in 21:03:66.

    Bethany, W. Va. – The Bethany College women's tennis team faced the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets Friday evening at the Mary Ewing Tennis Center. The Bison picked up their first win on the season defeating the Yellow Jackets, 5-4.

    Bethany College women?s volleyball traveled to Beaver Falls, Pa for a PAC match against the Geneva Golden Tornadoes. The Bison handed the Golden Tornadoes their first PAC loss of the season, 3-1 (26-24, 25-17, 12-25, 25-21).

    The Bethany College men’s soccer team hosted Mount Aloysius in a non-conference tilt Wednesday afternoon at Bison Stadium. The Bison fell 4-1 to the Mounties. The green and white’s lone goal came off the foot of Tony Cirri in the second half. Anthony Bradden dished the ball to Cirri to give the Bison their only goal of the match.

    The Bethany College women’s soccer team hosted the Mount Aloysius Mounties for a non-conference tilt Tuesday afternoon inside Bison Stadium. The Bison fell late to the Mounties, 2-1.

    Bethany, WV – Middle schools, high schools, colleges and universities from throughout western Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia will compete for top honors in the Interscholastic (IEA) and Intercollegiate (IHSA) horse shows at Oglebay Stables in Wheeling on Saturday and Sunday, October 12th and 13th, respectively.

  • Volleyball Splits on the Road

    Bethany College women’s volleyball traveled to Annville, Pa for a tri-match between Cabrini and Lebanon Valley held at Sorrentino Gymnasium. The Bison dropped the first match against Cabrini 3-1 (23-25, 25-13, 24-26, 20-25). In the second match of the day against Lebanon Valley, Bethany swept the Dutchmen, 3-0 (25-23, 25-19, 25-18).

  • Bethany College Inducts Six New HoF Members During Annual Homecoming Tradition

    Bethany College athletics inducted six new members into the Bethany Athletic Hall of Fame Saturday afternoon, as part of the annual homecoming festivities. The 2019 inductees were also recognized before the start of the football game against Westminster as part of the annual tradition. The 2019 inductees included Angela Ryder (Bado), class of 1977 (Women's Field Hockey); Alexander Ciocca III, class of 1976 (Football); Jean Newman (Goldring), class of 1975 (Women's Basketball, Volleyball, Field Hockey, and Tennis); Michael Houck, class of 2001 (Baseball); John Kenneth McVay, class of 1969 (Football); and Robert Radakovich; class of 1974 (Football, Track & Field, Basketball).

    After a rainy weather delay Bethany College Football hosted the Westminster Titans in a PAC contest late Saturday evening. The Bison fell to the Titans 45-9 in the first home contest of the season.

    Bethany College women’s volleyball traveled to Washington D.C for the Worthington Classic hosted by Gallaudet this weekend. The Bison went 1-3 in the tournament, picking up a win against Penn St.-Abington, 3-1. Senior Rachel Gantzer earned all-tournament honors for the Bison.
