    Bethany, W.Va – The Bethany College women’s basketball team faced the Penn State New Kensington Nittany Lions in a non-conference contest Wednesday evening inside Hummel Field House. The Bison bounced back defeating the Nittany Lions, 54-37.
  • Men's Basketball Suffers Loss to Grove City

    Bethany, W.Va – The Bethany College men’s basketball team returned to Hummel Field House for a PAC contest against the Grove City Wolverines. The Wolverines cruised past the Bison, 89-65. Khalil Wilson led the Bison with 11 points and Aiden Albert added 10 points for the Green and White.
  • Turnovers Prove Costly as Bison Fall to Wolverines

    Bethany, W.Va – The Bethany College women’s basketball team returned to Hummel Field House Tuesday evening for a PAC contest against the Grove City Wolverines. Bison turnovers proved costly giving the Wolverines a 77-31 win over the Green and White. Freshman Samaria Murry led the Bison with a career high 10 points.

    Bethany, W. Va – Bethany College football senior defensive lineman Daniel Gibson was named to the D3football.com 2019 All-South Region Team early Tuesday morning. Gibson was named to the All-South Region Second Team Defense.
  • Four Bison Named All-America Scholar-Athletes

    Louisville, Ky. - Over 8,000 student-athletes (8,161), a first in NFCA history, were named 2019 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes, the Association announced in October. The rankings and honors recognize the academic prowess of softball teams across the Association's membership categories. NCAA Division III led the way with 1,928 student-athletes earning a 3.5 grade-point average or higher for 2018-19. NCAA Division I and Division II followed with 1,769 and 1,306 honorees. High School weighted and High School unweighted earned 1,225 and 793 distinctions. NAIA and two-year programs each amassed 570 recipients.
  • PAC releases Indoor Track & Field Preseason Polls

    Greenville, Pa – The Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) released its preseason polls for men’s and women’s indoor track and field. Bethany College was picked to finish eighth on the men’s side, while the women were tabbed to finish tied for seventh.
  • Balanced Offense Leads Bethany in Win Over Geneva

    Beaver Falls, Pa – The Bethany College women’s basketball team opened up Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) play against the Geneva Golden Tornadoes Wednesday evening. The Bison used their 22 offensive rebounds and 23 assists to capture their first win of the season. The Green and White dealt the Golden Tornadoes a 77-69 loss. Junior guard, Allison Kuhn paced the Bison with a career-high 22 points.

    Beaver Falls, Pa – The Bethany College men’s basketball team opened up Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) play against the Geneva Golden Tornadoes Wednesday evening. The Bison struggles continue falling 71-47 to the Golden Tornadoes. Sophomore Khalil Wilson led the Bison with 13 points and five steals.

    Greensburg, Pa – The Bethany College men’s basketball team traveled to Greensburg, Pa for a non-conference tilt against the Pitt-Greensburg Bobcats Saturday afternoon. The Bobcats cruised by the Bison, 81-60. Senior Aiden Albert led the Bison with 13 points. Freshman Neshawn Brown added 11 points for the Green and White.
  • Women's Basketball Struggles Continue

    Altoona, Pa – The Bethany College women’s basketball team faced the Penn State-Altoona Lady Lions in a non-conference matchup Saturday afternoon. The Lady Lions jumped out to an 8-0 run in the beginning of the fourth quarter to take the lead and the game, 74-62.  Kelsie Meintel, Courtney Walker, and Haylie Glass led the Bison with 12 points apiece.
  • Men's Basketball Narrowly Edged by Tartans

    Pittsburgh, Pa – The Bethany College men’s basketball team traveled to Pittsburgh, Pa for a non-conference match-up against the Carnegie Mellon Tartans. The Bison comeback after being down 20 points, fell short in the final seconds of the second half. The Green and White fell to the Tartans, 87-84. Junior transfer, Dalton Hamrick led the Bison with a career high 24 points and six boards.

    Monaca, Pa – The Bethany College women’s basketball team faced the Penn State-Beaver Lions in a non-conference matchup Wednesday evening. The Green and White’s comeback fell short late in the fourth quarter, falling to the Lions, 58-49. The Bison were led by Kelsie Meintel’s double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds.
  • Vickers Named PAC Newcomer of the Year

    Greenville, Pa – Ten Bethany College Football players were named to Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) All-Conference Teams released by the league this afternoon. Leading the Bison in awards was freshman defensive back, Dadrick Vickers who was named this season’s PAC Newcomer of the Year.
  • Women's Basketball Falls to Oberlin

    Wooster, Ohio – The Bethany College women’s basketball team finished day two of the Nan Nichols Classic held at the College of Wooster. The Bison faced the Oberlin College Yeowomen early Sunday afternoon. The Green and White fell to the Yeowomen, 67-47. The Bison were led by Courtney Walker and Haylie Glass with 11 points each.
  • Second Half Surge Lifts Fighting Scots over Bison

    Wooster, Ohio – The Bethany College women’s basketball team hit the road for the Nan Nichols Classic held at the College of Wooster. The Bison faced the Fighting Scots Saturday afternoon in the second game of the classic. The Fight Scots used a second half surge to defeat the Bison. 75-54. Allison Kuhn and Courtney Walker led the Bison with 14 points apiece.

    Canton, Ohio - The Bethany College men’s basketball team traveled to Canton, Ohio to face the Malone University Pioneers in a non-conference tilt Saturday afternoon. The Bison fell to the Pioneers, 90-57. Dylan Furlong led the Bison with 12 points.

    Latrobe, Pa – The Bethany College football team traveled to Latrobe, Pa for a PAC contest against the Saint Vincent Bearcats Saturday afternoon. The Bison ended the 2019 season with a 27-10 loss to the Bearcats.

    The Bethany College cross country teams traveled to Bethlehem, Pa for the NCAA Division III Mideast Regionals held by Muhlenberg College early Saturday morning. The Bison wrap up the 2019 season with the women finishing 42nd while the men finished 50th.

    Meadville, Pa – The Bethany College women’s basketball team hit the road for a non-conference tilt against the Allegheny College Gators Wednesday evening inside the Wise Center. The game was originally scheduled for Tuesday evening, but was postponed due to inclement weather. The Bison fell to the Gators, 58-43. The Green and White were led by freshman Abbey Dobbins who notched a career high 13 points. Freshman Samaria Murry pulled in a career high 10 boards for the Bison.
  • Men's Basketball Falls to No. 22 Baldwin Wallace

    Berea, Ohio - The Bethany College men’s basketball team traveled to Berea, Ohio for a non-conference contest against No. 22 Baldwin Wallace. The Bison fell 95-53 to the Yellow Jackets. Junior Dalton Hamrick led the Bison with 15 points and six boards.

    Greenville, Pa – The Presidents’ Athletic Conference released its All-PAC women’s volleyball teams and conference award winners Tuesday afternoon. Headlining the honorees were First-Team All-PAC selection Katie Sparks (Macedonia, Ohio | Trinity) along with first-team selection and PAC Rookie of the Year winner, Sydney Snyder (Steubenville, Ohio | Steubenville).

Prior to the contest, Bethany College football honored their 22 seniors and celebrated the 125th anniversary of Bethany College Football. Strong defense prevailed the Bison over the Tomcats, 37-7.

The Bison’s comeback fell short to the Barons, 52-49. Sophomore Kelsie Meintel led the Bison with 13 points and nine boards, and former high school teammate Courtney Walker added 11 points for the Green and White.
