    Bethany, W.Va– The Bethany College men’s basketball team returned to Hummel Field House for a PAC contest against the Washington and Jefferson Presidents Saturday afternoon. The Bison struggles continue, falling 63-46 to the Presidents. The Green and White were led by Trey Shifflett with 11 points. Khalil Wilson pulled in a team high 12 rebounds.

    Bethany, W. Va – The Bethany College women’s basketball team returned to Hummel Field House for a PAC contest against the Washington and Jefferson Presidents Saturday afternoon. The Bison fell to the Presidents, 83-61. The Green and White were led by Makayla Reynolds with 12 points.

    New Wilmington, Pa. – The Bethany College men’s basketball team traveled north to New Wilmington, Pa for a PAC contest against the Westminster College Titans. The Titans cruised by the Bison, 76-64. The Green and White was led by Dalton Hamrick with 16 points.

    Bethany, W.Va – The Bethany College men’s basketball team returned to Hummel Field House for a PAC matchup against the Saint Vincent Bearcats. The Bison fell to the Bearcats in the final minute, 67-66. Khalil Wilson led the Green and White with 17 points and eight rebounds.

    Altoona, Pa. - The Bethany College men's and women's swimming and diving teams competed against Penn St.-Altoona early Saturday afternoon to open up 2020. The men were defeated 121-29 while the women were outscored, 76-40.

    Pittsburgh, Pa – The Bethany College men’s basketball team traveled Pittsburgh, Pa for a PAC contest against the Chatham Cougars Wednesday evening. Despite a late surge in the second half, the Bison fell to the Cougars, 73-68. Sophomore Khalil Wilson led the Green and White with 18 points and 10 rebounds.

  • Bethany College to Host Scholar Athlete Experience Day

    Bethany, W. Va – Bethany College athletics will hold a Scholar-Athlete Experience Day for all interested athletes on February 8, 2020. Registration for the day will begin at 10 am and prospective scholar-athletes will experience a tour of Bethany College campus, meet the coaches, and have a Q&A with current scholar-athletes. There will be an opportunity to learn more about the introduction to “Bison360” and complimentary admission to the basketball double-header against PAC opponent Chatham Cougars.

The Bison battled for a 53-49 win over the Tomcats. Junior Haylie Glass led the Bison with 13 points. Freshman Alexis Heap added 11 points and seven boards for the Green and White.

    Newport News, Va. – The Bethany College men’s basketball team traveled Newport News, Va. for the Captains Shootout, hosted by the Christopher Newport University Captains. The Bison faced Emory & Henry Wasps in the consolation game Sunday afternoon. Dalton Hamrick’s three at the buzzer lifted the Bison over the Wasps, 75-72. Hamrick finished with 13 points and seven rebounds. Freshman Neshawn Brown finished with a career high 24 points to lead the Bison.

The Bison faced the Hartwick Hawks in the consolation game Sunday afternoon. Despite the Bison fourth quarter comeback, the Green and White fell to the Hawks, 58-53. Courtney Walker led Bethany with 16 points and seven rebounds.

    Newport News, Va. – The Bethany College men’s basketball team traveled Newport News, Va. for the Captains Shootout, hosted by the Christopher Newport University Captains. The Bison squared off against the Captains in the second game of the shootout, Saturday afternoon inside the Freeman Center. The Captains cruised by the Bison, 96-52. Dylan Furlong led the Bison with 11 points.

    Montclair, NJ – The Bethany College women’s basketball team traveled to Montclair, NJ for the MSU Holiday Tournament, held by Montclair State University. The Bison faced the Red Hawks to open up tournament play Saturday afternoon inside the Panzer Athletic Center. The Bison’s cold shooting allowed the Red Hawks to cruise by and defeat the Green and White, 71-29. Courtney Walker led the Bison with nine points and six boards.

    Indiana, Pa – The Bethany College men’s basketball team traveled to Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex to face the Division II fifth-ranked IUP men’s basketball team for a non-conference matchup Sunday afternoon. The Crimson Hawks rolled passed the Bison hitting the century mark, 108-41.

Bison turnovers proved costly giving the Wolverines a 77-31 win over the Green and White. Freshman Samaria Murry led the Bison with a career high 10 points.

    Bethany, W. Va – Bethany College football senior defensive lineman Daniel Gibson was named to the D3football.com 2019 All-South Region Team early Tuesday morning. Gibson was named to the All-South Region Second Team Defense.
  • Four Bison Named All-America Scholar-Athletes
    December 10, 2019
    Louisville, Ky. - Over 8,000 student-athletes (8,161), a first in NFCA history, were named 2019 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes, the Association announced in October. The rankings and honors recognize the academic prowess of softball teams across the Association's membership categories. NCAA Division III led the way with 1,928 student-athletes earning a 3.5 grade-point average or higher for 2018-19. NCAA Division I and Division II followed with 1,769 and 1,306 honorees. High School weighted and High School unweighted earned 1,225 and 793 distinctions. NAIA and two-year programs each amassed 570 recipients.

    Greenville, Pa – The Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) released its preseason polls for men’s and women’s indoor track and field. Bethany College was picked to finish eighth on the men’s side, while the women were tabbed to finish tied for seventh.

    Beaver Falls, Pa – The Bethany College women’s basketball team opened up Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) play against the Geneva Golden Tornadoes Wednesday evening. The Bison used their 22 offensive rebounds and 23 assists to capture their first win of the season. The Green and White dealt the Golden Tornadoes a 77-69 loss. Junior guard, Allison Kuhn paced the Bison with a career-high 22 points.
