NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Presidents Athletic Conference has announced All-Conference golfers from the 2024-25 season. Jude Smith became the first Bethany College golfer to be named All-Conference under Head Coach Kailey Pettit. 

Smith was very consistent through all four rounds in the fall and spring. After being moved around with frost delays and shooting +10 in the first round of the fall championships, the Bison settled in shooting an impressive +4 in the next round. Smith stayed consistent in the spring, finishing both rounds +4 for a grand total of +22 over the course of four rounds.

Smith found himself excelling on the longer courses. He was fourth among the entire field in pars, sinking 45 of them. Smith was top five in another category, tying for fifth among all golfers in total score of par five holes; shooting three under over the course of the PAC Championships.

Being conference recognized is no new feat for Smith. Last year, the Bison earned PAC Newcomer of the Year honors.

Coach Pettit noted the hard work Smith has put into his game this season.

"Jude has a great work ethic. He's worked very hard this year on not only his golf game, but his mental game. I'm very excited to see it pay off."

Smith will return to Bethany for his junior season in the fall.
