INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Bethany College head softball coach
Lexi Buck has been selected to the National Collegiate Athletic Association Divisions II and III Softball Rules Committee.
Buck, who enters her first season as the Bison's head coach, was appointed to serve on the NCAA Divisions II and III Softball Rules Committee and will begin a four-year term from September 17, 2025 to August 31, 2029. She will be one of nine members on the Committee including three Division II coaches, three Division III coaches, an administrator from each division, and a secretary-rules editor.
Part of
Buck's duties on the Committee include preparing the official playing rules to comply with NCAA softball regulations as well as collaborating with the NCAA Playing Rules Oversight Panel to introduce and submit suggestions for rule changes at the Division II and III levels.
Buck and the rest of the Committee's members have been selected to uphold the NCAA's mission, traditions, values, and reputation while also serving as an advocate of Division III softball and the NCAA as a whole.
The Bison finished the 2025 season with an overall record of 26-13-1 and a record of 12-8 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference.
