Men's Basketball Falls to Tomcats

Greenville, Pa. – The Bethany College men's basketball team traveled Greenville, Pa for a PAC matchup against the Thiel College Tomcats. The Tomcats cruised by the Bison, 65-40. The Green and White were led by sophomore Khalil Wilson's 14 points and eight rebounds.


The Bison attacked first with a Khalil Wilson shot from behind the arc. The Green and White went neck and neck with the Tomcats in the first half, battling for the lead. The Bison built a 17-12 lead the Tomcats battled back and regained the lead with under four minutes to go in the first half. Bethany trailed 25-22.

A Wilson layup for the Bison opened the second half to cut the lead 25-24, but the Tomcats would go on a 19-5 run to build a commanding lead over the Green and White. Thiel outscored Bethany, 40-18 in the second half.

Thiel College Tomcats – 3-7 (2-1 PAC)


Bethany College men's basketball return to action on Wednesday, January 8 when the Bison travel to Pittsburgh, Pa to face the Chatham Cougars for a PAC contest at 8 pm.
