  • Men's Soccer Edges Thiel on Senior Day
    October 19, 2019
    The Bethany College men’s soccer team hosted the Thiel Tomcats in a PAC contest Saturday, afternoon. Prior to the match Bethany honored their seniors and their contributions to the program throughout their career. Senior goal keeper Michael Ceraolo who has been injured this season made the start for the Bison. The green and white edged the Tomcats, 1-0. Freshman Ramiro Veiga scored for the Bison.

    The Bethany College men’s soccer team traveled to Latrobe, Pa for a PAC contest against the Saint Vincent Bearcats, Wednesday afternoon. The Bison were dealt a 2-0 loss to the Bearcats.
  • Men's Soccer Wins Double Overtime Thriller

    The Bethany College men’s soccer team hosted the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets in a PAC contest Saturday afternoon. The Bison and Yellow Jackets went into a thrilling double overtime contest with the green and white winning the battle off a John Lee golden goal to give the Bison the victory.

    The Bethany College men’s soccer team hosted Mount Aloysius in a non-conference tilt Wednesday afternoon at Bison Stadium. The Bison fell 4-1 to the Mounties. The green and white’s lone goal came off the foot of Tony Cirri in the second half. Anthony Bradden dished the ball to Cirri to give the Bison their only goal of the match.

    The Bethany College men’s soccer team opened up PAC conference play Saturday afternoon in New Wilmington, Pa against the Westminster Titans. The Bison were dealt a 3-1 loss to the Titans late in the second half.
  • Men’s Soccer Nipped Late Against Hiram

    The Bethany College men’s soccer team hosted the Hiram Terriers in a non-conference match Tuesday afternoon. The Bison were dealt a late second half loss to the Terriers. The green and white were ahead until the 56th minute of the match. The Terriers scored again to take the lead with just two minutes to go in the match. The Bison are now 1-6 going into PAC play this Saturday, while the Terriers are now 3-3-2.

    The Bethany College men’s soccer team traveled to New Concord, Ohio for a non-conference tilt against Muskingum, Tuesday afternoon. The Bison fell to the Muskies 2-0. The green and white are now 1-6 while Muskingum is 5-0.

    Freshman Ramiro Veiga (Buenos Aires, Argentina / San Roman) of the Bethany College Men's Soccer team was announced as Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Rookie of the week for his performance last week.
  • Men's Soccer Earns Win in Home Opener
    September 07, 2019
    The Bethany College men’s soccer team faced Pitt-Greensburg in a non-conference match Saturday afternoon. The Bison surged past the Bobcats to win their home opener and first win of the season. Bethany scored two goals in the first half to seal the victory. Anthony Bradden scored five minutes into the match from a James Abbott assist and minutes before the half, a John Lee header to Ramiro Veiga added to the Bison’s lead. With the win, head coach Frankie Taal earned his first victory as the Bison’s head coach. Taal is no stranger to winning at Hoag Field, spending almost a decade playing and as an assistant coach at Bethany. The green and white are now 1-3, while Pitt-Greensburg falls to 0-3.

    The Bethany College men’s soccer team traveled to Bradford, Pa to take on Pitt-Bradford in a non-conference match on Saturday evening. The Bison fell 3-0 to the Panthers. The green and white are 0-2 on the season while Pitt-Bradford picked up their first win of the season.

    The Bethany College men’s soccer team traveled to Buffalo, NY for their season opener against D’Youville, Friday evening. The Bison fell 3-0 to the Spartans. The green and white are now 0-1, while the Spartans are 1-0 to begin the season.

    A new era will commence for the Bethany College men’s soccer program in 2019, as Head Coach Frankie Taal returns to his Alma Mater after spending 16 years at North Carolina Wesleyan
