Meadville, Pa – The Bethany College women's basketball team hit the road for a non-conference tilt against the Allegheny College Gators Wednesday evening inside the Wise Center. The game was originally scheduled for Tuesday evening, but was postponed due to inclement weather. The Bison fell to the Gators, 58-43. The Green and White were led by freshman Abbey Dobbins who notched a career high 13 points. Freshman Samaria Murry pulled in a career high 10 boards for the Bison.
Bethany struck first with a layup from Samaria Murry to start the game. The Bison held the lead for majority of the first quarter. The Green and White battled but couldn't cut the lead. With 2:12 left in the half, the Bison were able cut the lead to 12 off of an Alexis Heap field goal but the Gators went on another run to build the lead back up to 19.
