Bethany College

Tommy Williams, a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is entering his second season as the assistant baseball coach at Bethany College.

In the spring of 2020, the Bison had a record of 7-5-1 before athletic competition was ended due to Covid-19 pandemic.

Williams is entering his fourth year coaching at the collegiate level after coaching at Penn State Greater Allegheny and Chatham University.

Williams previously played at Penn State Greater Allegheny where he was part of the 2013 USCAA National Runner-up, and two-time PSUAC champions. While playing at Penn State Greater Allegheny, Williams set the school record for assist in a single-season. Williams in 2015 then transferred to the Pennsylvania State University where he was part of the Penn State Baseball Club and was awarded North-Atlantic Region All-Team his senior year.

In addition to his primary role coaching baseball, Williams also coaches infield for the Bethany College Softball team. During the off-season, Williams runs professional sports camps for teams including the Pittsburgh Pirates, Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, and Miami Marlins.
