Bethany, W. Va - The Bethany College softball team took on the Chatham Cougars in a PAC doubleheader on Saturday afternoon at Bison Field. The Bison swept the Cougars, 3-0 and 5-1.

Bethany edged the Cougars, 3-0
The Bison scored all three of their runs in the fourth inning. Bethany's Kayla Dinsmore hit a two-run homerun to right center to put the Bison on the board 2-0. Moments later, Gabby Capaldi doubled, scoring Jen Oberthur. Bethany held onto the 3-0 lead to take game one from the Cougars.

Bethany defeated Chatham, 5-1
Bethany scored first in game two in the bottom of the first inning. Jen Oberthur singled to left field driving in Emily Folk. In the second inning, the Cougars knotted the ballgame at 1-1. The Bison had an answer in the bottom of the second inning. Kathleen Fuchs doubled to left center scoring Lauren Maichle. Erica Amoroso later singled to score Fuchs. In the fourth inning the Bison added on an insurance run, to go ahead 5-1. Amoroso doubled scoring Paige Allen and Lauren Maichle.
