Latrobe, Pa. – The Bethany College men's lacrosse team traveled to Saint Vincent for a non-conference match up Wednesday afternoon at Chuck Knoll Field. The Bearcats cruised to a 20-6 victory over the Bison. Clay Yingling led the Bison with 2 goals.
GAME OVERVIEW
Bethany took a quick lead a few minutes into the first from a Josh Allegra goal. The Bearcats quickly regained the lead and never looked back, leading 5-1 after one. Clay Yingling hit the back of the net in the second to cut the lead to 5-2. The Bearcats would not back down, adding three goals to take an 8-2 lead. Bethany's Tyler Britton riffled one in to give the Bison three, but a minute later the Bearcats added another goal to take a 9-3 lead. The Bison scored shortly after the Bearcat goal, from a Khoury Kloss goal. Bethany trailed 12-4 heading into the intermission.
Freshman Andre Currie led the Bison out of the break with a goal. Clay Yingling scored his second goal on the night in the fourth quarter.
