MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Bethany College baseball team's winning streak extending to five after defeating Pennsylvania College of Technology at the Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach, Thursday afternoon.

The Bison struck first in the bottom of the first inning after CJ Owens drove in Devin Toothman. The lead was short lived as the Wildcats knotted the game 1-1 in the top of the second and later took the lead in the fourth inning.
Bethany's Riley Brendel hit a three-run homerun to give the Bison a 4-2 lead in the bottom of the fourth. The Bison added two runs in the fifth after Josh Speaker doubled to score Blake Connelly and Speaker would later score on a balk. The Bison would add another insurance run in the sixth with Owens driving in Mike Hines.
The Wildcats added a run in the seventh on a homerun and threatened the Bison with bases loaded but were unable to capitalize.
