ALTOONA, Pa. - Bethany has secured their first dual-meet victory of the 21st century in electric fashion.
The Bison completed a 57-0 sweep over Penn-State Altoona, with every Bison collecting bonus points.
Key bouts were sprinkled throughout the dual, but 125 pounder
Angelo Di Pol got the Bison started off on a strong note. After a few flurries of takedowns,
Di Pol stuck his opponent in just over a minute, keeping himself fresh for the quad meet Friday.
Braylon Leiffer showed his skill on top in his 141 bout. Leiffer tilted his way to a 20-2 tech fall in the early seconds of the second period.

Jonathan Braun was the only Bison to wrestle a full match, taking down Altoona's most accomplished wrestler with a 10-2 major decision.
Christopher Dreher had the biggest crowd reaction. The 184 pounder had a massive lift from a double leg to take his opponent straight to his back for a 30 second fall.
The Bison will compete in a quad meet tomorrow in all Division II competition. They'll take on Glenville State, Davis and Elkins, and Georgetown College.
