ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Bethany College men's lacrosse team fell to Mount Union in non-conference action, 24-3, Saturday at Kehres Stadium. 

Senior midfielder Cameron Russo scored a goal with an assist, while junior Justice Smith and senior Tyler Britton each scored a goal. Sophomore Zach Tuley added an assist.  

Mount Union scored all nine goals in the first period, and the first four of the second quarter, before Russo got the Bison on the board. Bethany held the Purple Raiders to just two goals in the third quarter. The Bison scored two more goals in the fourth period.  

INSIDE THE BOX & NOTES 

• Britton has scored in 40 of 59 career games, including both games this season.  

• Nestor finished with 20 saves.  

• Bethany was outshot 66-24. 

Bethany (0-2 overall, 0-1 PAC) travels to Muskingum 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in non-conference action.
