GREENVILLE, Pa. - The Bethany College men's wrestling team fell to Thiel (Pa.) College by a final score of 45-3 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference dual on Maenpa Court at Beeghly Gymnasium
Bethany (3-4, 1-1 PAC) looked to bounce back and earn another conference win as they took on Thiel (2-1, 2-1 PAC). The Bison were led by junior
Jonathan Braun (Kenilworth, N.J./David Brearley) who got the Bison's only win of the day with an 8-2 decision in the 174-pound match.
Freshman
Jackson Hodges (Fairfield, Ohio/Hamilton) trailed by 10 late in the second period at 197 and fought his way back to a three-point deficit but ran out of time and lost a close 11-7 decision.
Graduate heavyweight
Zach Kuneff (Martins Ferry, Ohio/Bridgeport) anchored the Bethany lineup once again where he traded blows with Thiel's Brian White into double overtime, but ultimately fell in a 3-2 decision.

Harrison Spadoni (Gaithersburg, Md./Quince Orchard), freshman 141-pounder
Aván Rosado (Florence, S.C./South Florence), freshman 149-pounder

The Bison are back in action on Thursday, February 5 as they travel to Latrobe, Pennsylvania to take on Saint Vincent (Pa.) College in a Presidents' Athletic Conference dual at 7 p.m. in the Robert S. Carey Center.
