Men's Lacrosse Concludes 2026 Season Versus Chatham

PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Bethany College men's lacrosse team fell to Chatham (Pa.) University by a final score of 30-1 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference game to conclude the 2026 season at UPMC Graham Field.

Bethany put a wrap on the 2026 season by taking on Chatham in one final conference matchup under the lights. The Cougars and their top-scoring offense were firing on all cylinders but the Green and White were able to break up the action in the second period with a goal of their own. The Bison finish the season with an overall record of 1-15 and a 0-9 record in the PAC while Chatham prepares for the PAC Tournament Semifinals.

Bethany Leaders
  • Junior midfielder Griffen Carpenter (Stow, Ohio) only needed one shot to put the Bison on the board for his seventh goal of the year
  • Sophomore midfielder Corrie Miller (Etters, Pa./Red Lands) led the defense with a team-high three caused turnovers and three ground balls 
  • Senior goalkeeper Justice Smith (Canonsburg, Pa./Canon-McMillan) made a career-high 14 saves in his final game wearing the Green and White
  • Sophomore midfielder Chance Funari (Wheeling, W.Va./Wheeling Park) and sophomore midfielder Logan Mills (Barrie North, Ontario/Eastview Secondary School) each forced the Cougars into one turnover and recorded a ground ball
  • Freshman defender Levi Connally (Prince George's County, Md./Frederick Douglass) finished his breakout freshman season with two more ground balls
  • Freshman midfielder Darwin Ruiz (Hyattsville, Md./Northwestern) and junior midfielder Abdul Lowe (Manassas, Va./Osbourn) won two face-offs and one face-off, respectively
  • Freshmen Dakota George (Marietta, S.C./Travelers Rest) and James Bialo (Duncansville, Pa./Hollidaysburg) each tallied a ground ball
Chatham Leaders
  • Senior attack Thomas Whitaker scored seven goals on his way to eight points
  • Senior face-off specialist Cody Randal won 31 face-offs and scooped up 12 ground balls
  • Junior attack Brady Rigdon had a game-high nine points with seven assists
