BETHANY, W.Va. - Bethany College is excited to announce that nominations are now open for the 2026-27 Bethany College Athletics Hall of Fame Classes.
Because no induction was held during the 2025-26 school year, Bethany will be opening nominations for two Hall of Fame classes in 2026-27. This fall, Hall of Fame Weekend is set for November 7, 2026 where the Bethany Athletics Hall of Fame will be inducting former fall athletes to represent the Class of 2026. Past, present, and future Bethanians are welcome to join us as we celebrate the 2026 Class while also cheering on the Bison women's volleyball team as they take on Thiel and the Bison football team as they face off against Saint Vincent.Â
In the spring, Bethany will debut its new Legends and Legacy Hall of Fame Weekend on April 10, where the Bethany Athletics Hall of Fame will be inducting former spring athletes in the Class of 2027. Legends and Legacy Weekend also features a homecoming for past Bethany College Athletics Hall of Famers, a presentation of special awards for past Bethany student-athletes, and alumni games for all of the Bison's team sports. The Weekend serves as a celebration of both past and present Bison student-athletes along with their achievements on the field, in the classroom, and in the Bethany community. After the 2026-27 year, Legends and Legacy Weekend will take place every spring as the official induction of the Bethany Athletics Hall of Fame for Bison athletics alumni of all seasons.
Nominations for the 45th and 46th classes of the Bethany College Athletics Hall of Fame are now open with the newest class being announced in the Fall of 2026.
The deadline to submit nominations for the fall Hall of Fame Class is August 15, 2026 with inductees being notified by September 1. The deadline to submit nominations for Legends and Legacy Weekend in the spring is October 1, 2026 with inductees being notified by December 1. Nominations submitted during the 2025-26 school year will also be considered for induction in both the upcoming fall and spring classes. Hall of Fame Nominations can be made
