  • Cassie Moore enters her fifth season in 2022-23

  • The Bison finished the 2022 season 19-16 (12-6 PAC) making their second straight PAC Tournament appearance under the Moore Era.
  • The Bison finished the 2021 season finishing 21-17 (11-5 PAC)
  • Moore led the Bison to their first 20+ win season since the 2015-16 season
  • The Green and White finished 2nd in the PAC Championship tournament falling to Geneva in the Championship game
  • The Bison were led by freshman pitcher Josie Wise in 2021. She pitched 20 complete games with four shutouts. Wise ranked second in the PAC with 116 strikeouts and allowed an opposing batting average of .237
  • The 2020 season was cut short due to COVID-19; The Bison were 4-6 until the season was cancelled
  • In Coach Moore’s first season, the Bison finished the 2019 campaign 10-22 (7-9 PAC)
  • Freshman catcher Jennifer Oberthur led the Bison earning All-PAC First Team honors in 2019; In addition to Oberthur, senior Emily Folk (OF) and junior's Erica Amoroso (SS), Tyra Bell (1B), and Kayla Dinsmore (DH) were named PAC Honorable Mention.

  • Spent one year as an assistant coach at NCAA Division II Coker College
  • The Cobras were the South Atlantic Conference Tournament runner-up and received an at large bid into the NCAA Tournament with a 36-18 overall record
  • Moore worked primarily with the Coker pitchers and helped the team achieve a 2.72 team ERA
  • She helped with the development of D2CCA All-Region pitcher Christine Carver, who was the SAC leader in ERA and was named the National Fastpitch Coaches of America (NFCA) National Player of the Week after throwing a perfect game
  • Before Coker College, Moore worked at the BASH Sports Academy in Chicago, Illinois as a softball coach
  • In 2016 Moore took over as the head coach at NCAA Division III Newbury College near Boston, Mass. in the middle of the academic year; She converted shortstop Alina Milauski from a position player into a pitcher that won 17 games for the Nighthawks
  • From 2013-15, Moore was the head coach at Genesee Community College in Batavia, New York
  • The Cougars won their first conference championship (WNYAC) in school history
  • She had the first All-American athlete selected and won Coach of the Year in the 2015 season
  • In total Moore coached 11 All-Conference and three All-Region selections during her tenure at Genesee

  • Played at Mars Hill University for two years before her career was cut short due to multiple injuries

  • Graduated magna cum laude from Mars Hill University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English (’07)
  • Graduated from Fort Hays State University with a Master’s of Arts degree in Liberal Arts
  • Has her Yoga Instructor certification (’11)
  • Member of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (’13) and Amateur Softball Association (renamed USA Softball in January of 2017) since 2015
  • Moore resides in Follansbee, W.Va.
