Bethany College

Zavien Cottonham enters his first season as a graduate assistant coach for the Bethany College track & field teams in 2025-26.

Cottonham comes to Bethany after being a five-year member of the track & field team at Shenandoah University from 2020-25. In his final season, He led the Hornets in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 18.52 seconds and in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 10.06. Cottonham also competed at the 2025 Old Dominion Athletic Conference in the 400-meter hurdles.
