BETHANY, W. Va. (BethanyBison.com) - A 67th minute penalty kick goal by Wilmington College handed the Bethany College Men's Soccer team a 1-nil loss on Hoag Field, Saturday, Sept. 15.

MATCH NOTES

  • The Quakers buried a penalty kick in the upper right corner at the 67th mark to blank the Bison, 1-nil.

  • In between the posts, sophomore Torben Grether (Rheinfelden, Germany/Georg-Buchner) made a game high seven saves through 90 minutes of action.

Bethany will return to the pitch for a midweek tilt against Marietta College Wednesday, Sept. 19. The men's team will first face off against the Pioneers at 4:30 p.m. before the women's game at 7:30 p.m.
