HAVERFORD, Pa. (Sept. 2) – The Bethany College volleyball team wrapped up play at the Haverford Invitational with a pair of 3-0 wins over Goucher and Bard Sunday afternoon.

BETHANY vs. BARD MATCH NOTES
- Bethany closed the weekend out with a dominant three-set sweep of Bard.
- The Bison hit .300 in each of the final two sets and limited Bard to hitting percentages of negative-.083, .083 and .088 in the match.
- Junior Katie Sparks (Macedonia, Ohio/Trinity) led the team with 11 kills and eight digs in the win.
- Senior Reilly Parker (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) finished with a team-best 11 digs, while sophomore Jenna Scott (New Castle, Ind./Liberty Christian) tossed around 16 assists.
- Parker and Sparks were later named to the All-Tournament Team for the Haverford Invitational.
UP NEXT
- The Bison will open PAC play on Saturday, September 8 when they travel to Waynesburg to take on the Yellow Jackets and Washington & Jefferson in a tri-match.
- Bethany and Waynesburg will open the day at 11 a.m. in the first match, before closing the day with W&J around 1 p.m.
