Bethany, W.Va – The Bethany College volleyball team faced the Allegheny College Gators in a non-conference match inside Hummel Field House Friday evening.

THE HIGHLIGHTS

• The Gators took the first two matches (25-19 and 25-18)
• The Bison battled to win the third set 25-21
• Bethany and Allegheny went back and forth in the fourth set heading down to the wire; Bethany led 23-19 before the Gators climbed back to knot the match at 23-23
• The next few points see-sawed, with the match tied at 26-26, the Gators used momentum to steal the next two points for the match.

BY THE NUMBERS

• Jess Moore with 23 kills
• Paige Allen and Anna Taylor each had 17 digs
• Alaina Torres registered a match high 43 assists and four aces
• Brooke Dahlgren added 12 kills

Bethany returns to the court Tuesday, October 12 when they face PAC opponent Thiel College Tomcats at 7 pm inside Hummel Field House.
