Waynesburg, Pa. – The Bethany College women's lacrosse team traveled to Waynesburg for a non-conference matchup against the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets. The Bison cruised to an 18-9 win over the Yellow Jackets. Freshman Karley Trinidad led the Bison with 5 goals and two assists.  

GAME OVERVIEW

The Bison cruised to an 18-9 victory Saturday evening. The Yellow Jackets scored first in the opening drive of the first half. Bethany answered with a Wesley Crockett goal and seconds later took a 2-1 lead after Cassidy Mailloux hit the back of the net. Both teams closely battled for a few more minutes until the Bison went back-to-back with goals from Mailloux and Alexa Taylor. Bethany never trailed after the 27:23 mark in the first half.
