Hiram, Ohio – The Bethany football (0-1) team lost the 2021 season opener on the road against the Hiram Terriers (1-0) Friday evening, by a final of 41-21 inside Charles A. Henry Field.

- Dom Salinetro threw a 57-yard touchdown pass to sophomore Brennon Secrist in the third quarter, cutting the Terriers' lead in half, 14-7
- After the Bison scored the Terriers regained a 14 point lead with an eight play 58 yard drive
