Cleveland, Ohio – The Bethany Volleyball team closed out the weekend dropping a pair against Case Western and Earlham Saturday afternoon.

THE HIGHLIGHTS – MATCH ONE (CASE WESTERN RESERVE)

• Case Western defeated the Bison in three sets
• The Spartans started the match out strong, defeating the Bison 25-9
• Bethany battled in the second and third set but fell short of making a comeback

BY THE NUMBERS – MATCH ONE

• 7 – Freshman Destiny Goodnight led the Bison block party with seven blocks (five solo)
• 14 – Sophomore Lynn Burton had 14 assists 
• 5 – Three Bison had five kills (Brooke Dahlgren, Jess Moore, Riley Felton)
• 8 – Senior Brooke Corley led the Bison with eight digs

THE HIGHLIGHTS – MATCH TWO (EARLHAM)

• Bethany fell to Earlham in three sets
• Bethany and Earlham battled in all three sets; The Bison fell 25-23, 25-19 and 25-20

BY THE NUMBERS – MATCH TWO

• 3 – Freshman Destiny Goodnight led the Bison with three blocks
• 10 – Jess Moore led the Bison with 10 kills and Talia Gallagher had 10 assists
• 17 – Lynn Burton had 17 assists
• 32 – The Bison tallied 32 kills

Bethany begins Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) play on Saturday, September 11 when the Bison host Chatham and Washington & Jefferson in a tri-match beginning at 11 am.
