Men's Soccer: Bethany Settles for 2OT Draw With Mt. Aloysius

Cresson, Pa. – Bethany College men's soccer team traveled to Mount Aloysius for a non-conference match Wednesday evening. The Bison and Mounties ended in a double-overtime draw at 1-1.  

THE HIGHLIGHTS

  • The Mounties scored first to take a 1-0 lead in the 41st minute
  • Fausto Gionchetti got the Bison on the board with a header off of a Ramiro Vegia pass from the free kick

BY THE NUMBERS

  • 1 – Gionchetti scored his first collegiate goal tonight in the 1-1 draw
  • 4 – Adis Salihovic registered four saves in 110:00 minutes of play
