CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Bethany College football team traveled to Case Western Reserve University for a PAC contest Saturday afternoon. The Spartans cruised to a 45-7 win over the Bison.
THE HIGHLIGHTS
- CWRU struck first in the first quarter on a two-yard touchdown pass. The Spartans led 7-0 after the first quarter.
- In the second quarter, CWRU nailed a 22-yard field goal and an 18-yard touchdown pass to extend the lead to 17-0 heading into the halftime break.
- The Spartans' offense tacked on 14 more points while the defense earned a 34-yard interception return. After three quarters, the Spartans led 38-0.
- Tre Dean reeled in a 74-yard touchdown pass from Marquice Robinson to put the Bison on the board.
- Case Western Reserve added seven points on an 8-yard run.
BY THE NUMBERS
- (200) – The Bison totaled 200 yards of offense with 132 yards in the air and 68 yards on the ground.
- (5) – The Green and White punted five times for a total of 181 yards.
- (2) – The Spartans had two interceptions.
LEADERS
- TJ Crowder led the Bison defense with seven tackles.
- Jordan Aldridge had one sack and two tackles for loss and finished the game with five tackles (4 solo).
- Tsi Fofang had one tackle for loss and five total tackles (4 solo).
- Tre Dean led the offense with one catch for 74 yards and the lone Bison touchdown.

Bethany will continue PAC play on the road against Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pa. on Saturday, Oct. 29 for a 7 pm kickoff.
