Bethany, W.Va. – The Bethany College baseball team hosted the Saint Vincent Bearcats in a PAC doubleheader at Bethany Park Wednesday afternoon.
Game One Overview
Saint Vincent 3, Bethany 2
The Bison took a 2-0 lead after scoring a run in the first and second inning. Stef Blackstone drove in Michael Whiteherse in the first and Dezmond Franklin drove in Colton Stoneman for the Bison's second run. The Bearcats scored a run in the final three innings to take game one.
Game Two Overview
Saint Vincent 2, Bethany 1
The Bearcats took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first. The Bison knotted the game at 1-1 in the third inning after Stef Blackstone drove in Cameron Schaub. Both teams battled through the game with the Bearcats breaking the tie in the 11th inning.
