BETHANY, W.Va. – The Bethany College women's lacrosse opened up Presidents' Athletic Conference play against Washington & Jefferson College Wednesday afternoon. The Presidents cruised to a 19-2 victory over the Bison.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- W&J held an early 8-0 lead in the first period and would take a 12-0 lead into the halftime break.
- The Presidents' continued to hold momentum in the third, scoring four goals.
- Gracie Gonzales would break the shut out after she found the back of the net to open up the fourth quarter.
- The Presidents' tacked on three more goals.
- As time was expiring in the game, Cassidy Mailloux found the back of the net for the Bison's second goal.
BISON TOP PERFORMERS
- Gracie Gonzalez and Cassidy Mailloux led the Bison with one goal apiece. Mailloux also had one assist.
BY THE NUMBERS
- W&J outshot the Bison, 24-6.
- The Presidents went 6-for-6 on Free Position Shots while the Bison went 0-for-1.
