GROVE CITY, Pa. - The Bethany College women's volleyball team fell to Grove City (Pa.) College by a final score of 3-1 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference match at Grove City College Arena.
Bethany (5-10, 2-4 PAC) Leaders
- Sophomore middle blocker Ashton Thomas (Toronto, Ohio) had a big day at the net with a season-high seven blocks and a team-leading seven kills
- Senior Academic All-PAC outside hitter Lesley Sanchez (Lorain, Ohio/Elyria Catholic) and senior Academic All-PAC middle blocker Averie Braymer (Saegertown, Pa.) each notched six kills for the Green and White offense
- Junior Academic All-PAC setter Emma Egan (Pittsburgh, Pa./Seton LaSalle) assisted a team-high 11 times and added six digs
- Freshman outside hitter Isabella Poppelriter (Wellsville, Ohio) led the team with 12 digs while senior Academic All-PAC libero Andie Clark (Columbus, Ind./Hauser) added eight
- Freshman setter Grace Padavick (Cleveland, Ohio/Padua Franciscan) finished the day with six assists, four digs, and a team-high two service aces
Grove City (10-4, 3-3 PAC) Leaders
- Sarah Hart had a spectacular day for the Wolverine offense with 19 kills hitting .517 on 29 attempts
- Brooke Manfull had 19 assists
- Lilly Wojtala tallied a game-high 17 digs
