BETHANY, W.Va. - The Bethany College women's volleyball team celebrated Senior Day as they fell to Hiram (Ohio) College by a final score of 3-0 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference match on Joe Kurey Memorial Court at Hummel Fieldhouse.
Prior to the game, Bethany (7-16, 4-10) team honored seniors JaSona Belyeu (McKeesport, Pa.), Averie Braymer (Saegertown, Pa.), Andie Clark (Columbus, Ind./Hauser), Taylor Love (Indianapolis, Ind./Purdue Polytechnic), and Lesley Sanchez (Elyria, Ohio/Elyria Catholic). Momentum was high for the Bison on Senior Day as they came out hot and forced a close first set with Hiram (22-2, 13-1 PAC) who currently sits at the top of the conference standings. The Green and White played the Terriers tough through the next three sets, and despite falling to a strong Hiram team, the Bison have one more chance to earn another win in Hummel next weekend.

- Senior right-side hitter Taylor Love (Indianapolis, Ind./Purdue Polytechnic) led the Bison at the net with a career-high three blocks and five kills
- Senior Academic All-PAC middle blocker Averie Braymer (Saegertown, Pa.) tied a game-high 11 kills to reach 200 on the season
- Senior Academic All-PAC libero Andie Clark (Columbus, Ind./Hauser) notched a team-best 15 digs in front of the home crowd as she cracks the PAC's Top-10 with 361 on the year
- Senior outside hitter JaSona Belyeu (McKeesport, Pa.) finished with eight digs and one assist against the Terriers
- Senior outside hitter Lesley Sanchez (Elyria, Ohio/Elyria Catholic) posted four digs and two kills on her Senior Day
- Sophomore middle blocker Ashton Thomas (Toronto, Ohio) contributed seven kills and two block assists
- Freshman setter Grace Padavick (Cleveland, Ohio/Padua Franciscan) had a team-best two aces and recorded the 14 assist-10 dig double-double

- Senior setter Kelly Hoffman had a game-high 29 assists
- Senior libero Brooke Fishback led all players with 17 digs
- Junior outside hitter Maggie Riley and freshman outside hitter Sofia Smotek each tallied 11 kills for the Hiram offense
