MEADVILLE, Pa. - The Bethany College football team closed the 2025 season as they fell to Allegheny (Pa.) College by a final score of 42-6 in a Presidents' Athhletic Conference game at Frank B. Fuhrer Field.
Bethany concluded the 2025 campaign by searching for their first back-to-back wins since 2019 while also trying to play spoiler to Allegheny's Senior Day. The Green and White held strong through each of the first two periods and were only a few plays away from heading into the half locked with the Gators. However, two Allegheny 21-point halves lifted the home team to a victory in the season finale. Bethany finishes the season with an overall record of 1-9 and a 1-7 record in the PAC while Allegheny finishes their season with a record of 4-6 and a PAC record of 4-4.
Bethany Leaders
- Junior All-PAC quarterback Brett Phillips (Wheeling, W.Va./Wheeling Park) completed 60% of his passes on his way to 256 passing yards and one touchdown
- Freshman running back Julian Burrell (Manassas, Va./Osbourn) rushed for 95 yards on 21 carries to lead the Bethany run game in his first collegiate start
- Sophomore receiver Jermain Beersingh (Miami, Fla./Hialeah Senior) had a game-high nine receptions for 149 receiving yards while scoring the only touchdown for the Green and White
- Junior linebacker Charlie DiSaia (Wheeling, W.Va./Wheeling Park) had his best game this season after totalling a game-high 14 tackles with four solos and added 4.5 tackles for loss and a sack
- Senior All-PAC defensive end Amarion Williams (Miami, Fla./South Dade) recorded a sack and a forced fumble to end his career for the Bison while junior defensive lineman Tristan Tubbs (Chagrin Falls, Ohio/Kenston) also registered a sack
Allegheny Leaders
- Freshman quarterback Sean Siska only needed 14 completions to throw for 274 yards and four touchdowns
- Sophomore receiver Dominic Berarducci rushed for 152 yards and punched in two touchdowns for the Gators
- Senior receiver Chris Gisewhite had a team-high five catches for 91 yards and two touchdowns
- Sophomore defensive back Jihad Muhammad finished with a team-high nine tackles with six solos

- 1:27 - Williams forced the only turnover of the day with a strip sack while junior Academic All-PAC linebacker Cam Bailey (Huntington, W.Va./Spring Valley) jumped on the fumble to set up good field position for the Bison offense
Fourth Quarter (Allegheny 42-6)
- 1:51 - Beersingh scampered for a 57-yard touchdown reception on fourth down to put the Bison on the board
