Women's Volleyball Drops Season Finale to Saint Vincent

BETHANY, W.Va. - The Bethany College women's volleyball team fell to Saint Vincent (Pa.) College by a final score of 3-1 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference match to close the 2025 season on Joe Kurey Memorial Court at Hummel Fieldhouse.

Bethany returned home for one final game after just barely missing a spot in the PAC Tournament and looked end the 2025 campaign with a win over Saint Vincent. The Bison battled back from an early deficit in the first set and then traded punches with the Bearcats in the second frame before dominating Saint Vincent with 12 kills in a 25-20 third-set victory. Unfortunately, the Bearcats rattled off seven straight points in Set 4 to secure the win in the season finale. Bethany concludes their season with an overall record of 7-18 and a 4-12 record in the PAC while Saint Vincent moves on to the PAC Tournament with a record of 9-14 and a PAC record of 7-9.

  • Senior Academic All-PAC libero Andie Clark (Columbus, Ind./Hauser) finished her Bethany career with a team-high 19 digs marking over 650 digs in her career while adding two assists and two aces against Saint Vincent
  • Senior Academic All-PAC middle blocker Averie Braymer (Saegertown, Pa.) went out with a bang after finishing with 12 kills, three digs, three aces, and two blocks in her last game as a Bison
  • Senior outside hitter JaSona Belyeu (McKeesport, Pa.) ended her collegiate career by tallying nine digs and one service ace
  • Senior outside hitter Lesley Sanchez (Elyria, Ohio/Elyria Catholic) recorded two kills, two block assists, and one dig in her final game in Hummel Fieldhouse
  • Senior right-side hitter Taylor Love (Indianapolis, Ind./Purdue Polytechnic) notched a kill, a dig, and a momentum-shifting solo block in her last game wearing the Green and White
  • Freshman setter Grace Padavick (Cleveland, Ohio/Padua Franciscan) assisted 16 times to lead the team while also adding three digs and an ace
  • Freshman middle blocker Gabrielle Aiken (Saint Helena Island, S.C./Bridges Preparatory School) led the team with three blocks
  • Junior Academic All-PAC setter Emma Egan (Pittsburgh, Pa./Seton LaSalle) posted 12 digs while freshman outside hitter Isabella Poppelriter (Wellsville, Ohio) added 11 of her own
  • Freshman middle blocker Analesa Perdue (Steubenville, Ohio) contributed four kills to the Bison offense and added two block assists
  • Sophomore outside hitter Marissa French (Reynoldsburg, Ohio) recorded her first collegiate kill in the first set
