GREENVILLE, Pa. - A pair of extended runs enabled the Bethany College women's basketball team to breeze to the 98-42 Presidents' Athletic Conference victory over Thiel Wednesday.
Bethany had a 17-0 run in the first half and a 23-0 run in the second half to solidify the victory. The 17-0 spurt came on the heels of Thiel taking its lone lead, 5-3, of the game.
Senior Lindsey Garrison shook off a six-game shooting slump in dropping a team-high 23 points on 7-of-13 shooting. After shooting just 5-of-37 since the calendar flipped to 2025, the sharpshooter returned to form – going 7-of-11 from distance in the victory. The seven three-pointers are tied for the fourth-most in a game in school history. Garrison holds the top two spots with 10 and nine, respectively, and also has another game in which she made seven three-pointers in a contest.
Senior Alyssa Serensky got going almost immediately upon entering the game, scoring seven points in her first five minutes. She finished with a season-high 18 points on a career-high tying four three-pointers. Junior Kaedlee Potter recorded her fourth double-double of the season with 11 points and a career-high-tying 13 rebounds. She added a career-high six assists.
Sophomore Kate Botti and graduate Bella Skobel each tallied 11 points, while Botti had a career-high six assists and Skobel posted a career-high three blocks.

Bethany (11-9 overall, 8-7 PAC) welcomes Geneva to Hummel Field House 1 p.m. Saturday in a pivotal conference game. The Bison holds a two-game lead for the final PAC tournament spot with five games remaining. Geneva earned the 79-76 win on December 17.
