BRADFORD, Pa. - Senior Tyler Britton keyed the game's pivotal run en route to becoming Bethany's all-time points leader as the Bison posted a 15-9 non-conference victory over Pitt.-Bradford Saturday.
With his third point of the game, an assist with 9:51 remaining in the second period, Britton etched his name at the top of the record book. Britton is also the program leader in goals. The assist came as Bethany seized control with seven straight goals, five coming in the second period. Britton scored or assisted on the last four scores of the rally. For the game, he finished with four goals and four assists.
Britton kicked off another goal run with two goals and an assist as Bethany tallied seven of nine goals in the second half.
Senior Cameron Russo led the way with season-high six goals and added a pair of assists. Sophomore Ruddy Sampson finished with two goals and an assist, while junior Justice Smith picked up a pair of goals.
Bethany (3-5) travels to Alfred State 4 p.m. Wednesday.
