BETHANY – The Bethany Bison were in an intense battle with the Franciscan Barons. Despite only allowing one goal in the fourth quarter in an open net situation, the offense was unable to rack up enough goals to edge out a victory.
Christian Nestor had a great game in the net. The Barons hurled over 60 shots towards the Bison net. Nestor ended with 20 saves, making this game his fourth game with at least 20 saves.
Cameron Russo was the primary source of offense for Bethany. He finished with five goals and four assists, leading the team in both categories.
Tyler Bitton (three) and Zach Tuley (two) were other multi-goal scorers for Bethany.
The Bison will take a break from conference play this Saturday. They will host Randolph for a 1pm start time.
