NEW CONCORD, Ohio– Bethany fell behind fast against Muskingum in a non-conference game. It was scheduled for nine innings, but ended in seven with the Muskies taking a 16-2 win over the Bison.

After a scoreless first, Muskingum jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the first. They repeated the same sequence, scoring fifth in the fourth inning. 

The Bison scored a run in the fifth to prevent a shutout. Jaden Nestor-Fox singled to drive in a run. 

Riley Brendel singled up the middle in the sixth to score Bethany's second run.

Bethany will play Grove City tomorrow. The doubleheader will begin at 1 p.m.
