GREENSBURG, Pa. - The Bethany College women's volleyball team defeated the University of Pittsburgh-Greensburg (Pa.) by a final score of 3-0 in a non-conference match at Chambers Hall Gymnasium.
Bethany (4-6) Leaders
- Sophomore middle blocker Ashton Thomas (Toronto, Ohio) led the Bison in kills with nine: a game-high
- Freshman setter Grace Padavick (Cleveland, Ohio/Padua Franciscan) and Academic All-PAC junior setter Emma Egan (Pittsburgh, Pa./Seton LaSalle) assisted 19 times and 10 times, respectively
- Senior outside hitter Lesley Sanchez (Lorain, Ohio/Elyria Catholic) and freshman middle blocker Layla Smith (Lakewood, Ohio) each added six kills against the Bobcats
- Junior Academic All-PAC outside hitter Madi Donelson (Lanham, Md./Annapolis Area Christian) led the team in aces once again with three and added a season-high nine digs
- Senior Academic All-PAC libero Andie Clark (Columbus, Ind./Hauser) posted her second straight game of 15 digs
- Senior Academic All-PAC middle blocker Averie Braymer (Saegertown, Pa.) finished with eight kills, three digs, one assist, and one ace
- Freshman outside hitter Isabella Poppelriter (Wellsville, Ohio) also had nine digs for the Bison defense and added five kills
- Freshman middle blocker Gabrielle Aiken (Saint Helena Island, S.C./Bridges Preparatory School) made her collegiate debut

- Junior libero Emily Hernandez led all players with 18 digs
- Sophomore middle blocker Ca'Mari Walden notched a team-best six kills
- Freshman setter Lilly Buckles led the team with 10 assists
