BETHANY, W.Va. - The Bethany College men's volleyball team defeated Washington & Jefferson (Pa.) College by a final score of 3-2 in an exhibition match on Joe Kurey Memorial Court inside Hummel Fieldhouse.
Bethany Leaders
- Freshman setter Zachary Kay (Little Egg Harbor, N.J./Pinelands) tallied a match-high 21 assists along with four digs, three kills, two aces, and a block assist
- Freshman libero Tyshon Francis (McKeesport, Pa.) led the Bethany defense with five digs
- Sophomore All-PAC outside hitter Riley Burdett (Jefferson Hills, Pa./Thomas Jefferson) notched a team-best six kills on nine attacks for a .667 hitting percentage while also adding four digs
- Sophomore middle blocker Emilio Feliciano (El Mirage, Ariz./Dysart) also recorded six kills with three digs and one block
- Sophomore right-side hitter Baylen Loosier (Pittsburgh, Pa./Pittsburgh Science & Tech Academy) served up four aces and added four kills on the night to help lead the Bison
- Freshman outside hitter Braeden Reedus (Blacklick, Ohio/Reynoldsburg) finished with a team-high two blocks and contributed three aces and three digs
W&J Leaders
- Freshman outside hitter Koltrin Forry had a match-high 11 kills including seven digs and two solo blocks
- Freshman setter Jonah Meyer led the Presidents with a 17-assist, 12-dig double-double
- Freshman outside hitter Doug Klueber added seven kills for the W&J offense
