Men's Basketball Blows Out Waynesburg to Complete Season Series Sweep

BETHANY, W.Va. - The Bethany College men's basketball team defeated Waynesburg (Pa.) University by a final score of 105-69 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference game on Joe Kurey Memorial Court inside Hummel Fieldhouse.

Bethany (10-12, 6-7 PAC) Leaders
  • Senior forward Alex Andrews (Ocoee, Fla.) made his first career start for the Green and White where he totaled a career-high 18 points after connecting on seven of his eight shots while adding six rebounds and two blocks
  • Senior guard Co Rose (Odessa, Texas) finished with a game-high 26 points and fell one assist short of a double-double
  • Freshman guard Semaj Marshall (Washington, D.C./Parkside) led the team with seven rebounds and added four assists and two steals
  • Sophomore forward Jayden Jackson (Columbia, S.C./A.C. Flora) scored 15 points with five rebounds, one block, and one steal
  • Senior guard Ryan Reasbeck (Washington, Pa./Wheeling Central Catholic) also grabbed five rebounds and contributed 14 points
  • Graduate Academic All-PAC guard Troy Hixson (Grove City, Ohio/Bishop Ready) added 10 points and six rebounds for the Bison
  • Freshman guard Jaden Stewart (Pikeville, Ky./Pikeville County Central) drilled three threes for nine points and added four rebounds
Waynesburg (7-15, 3-10 PAC) Leaders
  • Junior guard Aiden Blake led the team with 14 points and five rebounds
  • Senior guard Casey Keesee also scored 14 points and assisted a team-best three times
  • Senior guard Jalen Goins was the final Yellow Jacket in double-figures with 10 points
The Bison are back in action on Saturday, February 14 as they travel to New Wilmington, Pennsylvania to take on Westminster (Pa.) College in a Presidents' Athletic Conference game at 3 p.m. in Buzz Ridl Gymnasium.
