Men's Lacrosse Takes On Pitt-Bradford to Open 2026 Season

BETHANY, W.Va. - The Bethany College men's lacrosse team fell to the University of Pittsburgh-Bradford (Pa.) by a final score of 18-4 in a non-conference game to open the 2026 season on Don Ault Field at Bison Stadium. 

Bethany (0-1) Leaders
  • Senior attack Justice Smith (Canonsburg, Pa./Canon-McMillan) led the Bison with two goals and one assist for a team-high three points. He also picked up six ground balls
  • Sophomore midfielder Corrie Miller (Etters, Pa./Red Lands) and freshman defender Braden Jones (Essex, Md./Kenwood) supplied the Bethany offense with a goal each marking the first in their respective Green and White careers
  • Junior attack Alex Neu-Houdieshell (Galloway, Ohio/Hilliard Bradley) made a career-high two assists and grabbed one ground ball
  • Freshman midfielder Levi Connally (Prince George's County, Md./Frederick Douglass) led the team with nine ground balls in his collegiate debut and forced two turnovers
  • Junior midfielder Abdul Lowe (Manassas, Va./Osbourn) won seven face-offs and tallied five ground balls
  • Sophomore goalkeeper Owen Livengood (York, Pa./York Suburban) made 13 saves on the day
Pitt-Bradford (1-0) Leaders
  • Freshman attack Luke Amberman scored six points on the day with four goals and two assists
  • Freshman face-off Austyn Stack led all players with 11 ground balls while winning 12 face-offs
  • Senior goalkeeper Hunter Shank had a team-high six saves for the Panthers
The Bison are back in action on Monday, February 23 as they host Hanover (Ind.) College in a non-conference game at 4 p.m. on Don Ault Field at Bison Stadium.
