NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Bethany College women's basketball team fell to Westminster (Pa.) College by a final score of 67-65 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference game in Buzz Ridl Gymnasium.
Bethany (15-8, 10-4 PAC) Leaders
- Senior Academic All-PAC forward Kaedlee Potter (Barboursville, W.Va./Cabell Midland) recorded her third double-double in four games after tallying 13 points and 13 rebounds while adding six assists and two steals
- Freshman guard and PAC Newcomer of the Week Lindsey Best (Rayland, Ohio/Martins Ferry) led the Green and White with 19 points and added five boards
- Sophomore Academic All-PAC guard Addy Blazer (Hanoverton, Ohio/United Local) finished with nine rebounds, six points, and tied a career-high five blocks in her first start since coming back from injury
- Graduate All-PAC guard Lindsey Garrison (Triadelphia, W.Va./Wheeling Park) added seven points, four assists, and a game-high four steals
- Sophomore guard Ella Simpson (Morgantown, W.Va./University) also scored 15 points on 53.8% shooting with three assists
Westminster (9-14, 6-8 PAC) Leaders
- Sophomore guard Maddie Syka scored a game-high 20 points with four rebounds
- Sophomore guard Katie Grexa tallied a team-high 11 rebounds and scored eight points including the gamewinner
- Freshman guard Bella Calcamuggio led the Titans with five assists
The Bison are back in action on Wednesday, February 18 as they travel to Washington, Pennsylvania to take on Washington & Jefferson (Pa.) College in a Presidents' Athletic Conference game at 7:30 p.m. in Salvitti Family Gymnasium.
