BETHANY, W.Va. - The Bethany College men's basketball team celebrated Senior Day as they fell to the Franciscan University of Steubenville (Ohio) by a final score of 91-88 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference game on Joe Kurey Memorial Court inside Hummel Fieldhouse.
Prior to the game, Bethany honored seniors
Alex Andrews (Ocoee, Fla.),
Joe Bruggeman (Elkhorn, Neb./Mount Michael Benedictine),
Troy Hixson (Grove City, Ohio/Bishop Ready),
TJ Jenkins (Pittsburgh, Pa./Woodland Hills),
Ryan Reasbeck (Washington, Pa./Wheeling Central Catholic), and
Co Rose (Odessa, Texas). Although the 2025-26 season comes to a close, it was a historic season for a Bethany (10-15, 6-10 PAC) program that has not won 10 games in eight years. The Green and White looked to go out on a high note and traded punches with Franciscan (20-5, 12-4 PAC), the Barons were able to pull away in the final seconds as they prepare for the first round of the PAC Tournament.
