GROVE CITY, Pa. - The Bethany College swimming and diving team competed at the 2026 Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships hosted by Grove City (Pa.) College at James E. Longnecker Competition Pool.

Bethany concluded the 2025-26 season at the PAC Championships where the women's team finished eighth out of nine teams with 18 team points. The host Grove City claimed the top spot in both the women's and men's events marking the seventh and eighth consecutive years that the Wolverines were named conference champions, respectively.

The Bison were led by sophomore JulieAnne Humpe (Yorkville, Ohio/Wheeling Central Catholic) who had a huge week by supplying the Bison with all of their points in the team standings. She finished 10th in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:04.68 and also in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:20.13. Humpe also competed in the 200-yard individual medley where she finished 13th by swimming a 2:29.77 which was almost eight seconds faster than her preliminary time. Following the championships, Humpe was named to the PAC Women's Swimming and Diving Sportsmanship Team.

Also swimming for the women's team was freshman Jailyn Cline (Brilliant, Ohio/Buckeye Local) who competed in her first conference championship. She opened the week by timing a 36.71 in the 50-yard freestyle and also represented the Bison in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 1:28.46. Cline also swam the 100-yard backstroke where she finished with a time of 1:45.67.

On the men's side, freshman Corbin Henry (Martinsburg, W.Va.) also competed in his first PAC Championship in the 50-yard, 100-yard, and 200-yard freestyles. In the 50, he clocked a 25.40 beating out three other swimmers. Henry then recorded a time of 57.80 in the 100 and a time of 2:12.49 to round out the Bethany men's events. Henry was also named to the PAC Men's Swimming and Diving Sportsmanship Team at the end of the weekend.
