NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Bethany College baseball freshman left-hander Noah Stonerock (Circleville, Ohio/Westfall) has been named the Presidents' Athletic Conference Newcomer of the Week for the first time in his career.

Stonerock earns the conference's first weekly honor of the year after getting the starting nod in his collegiate debut against Pitt-Bradford last weekend. Through 5.1 innings, he faced 25 batters and limited the Panthers to one run on five hits and three walks to earn the first victory of his Green and White career as the Bison defeated Pitt-Bradford 5-3. Stonerock currently holds opponents to a .250 batting average and has an earned run average of 1.31 on the season.

The Bison are back in action Saturday, February 28 as they host Penn State University-Beaver in a non-conference doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. at Bethany Park.
