LATROBE, Pa. - The Bethany College women's basketball team fell to Saint Vincent (Pa.) College by a final score of 78-60 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference Tournament Semifinals in the Robert S. Carey Center.
With a trip to the PAC title game on the line, Bethany (17-10) had to get through Saint Vincent (21-6) one last time after splitting the season series. The Bearcats came out hot with a dominant first period, but the Bison staged a second-quarter comeback to keep their conference championship hopes alive. However, a big second half by Saint Vincent put a wrap on a historic 2025-26 season for the Green and White, the program's best since winning 17 games in 2011-12, highlighted by a stretch where the Bison won 13 of 14 games including a nine-game win streak. Saint Vincent advances to the PAC Tournament Championship Game where they will host second-seeded Washington & Jefferson (Pa.) College on Saturday, February 28.
