GROVE CITY, Pa. - The Bethany College men's volleyball team fell to Grove City (Pa.) College by a final score of 3-0 and fell to Penn State University-Behrend by a final score of 3-0 in the Grove City Tri-match at Grove City College Arena.

- Sophomore Academic All-PAC libero Cole Thomas (Lindside, W.Va./James Monroe) led the Bison defense with 12 digs and tallied two assists
- Junior middle blocker McKay Ginez (Santa Maria, Calif./Pioneer Valley) tied a career-high 11 kills while hitting .474 and adding a dig and a block assist
- Freshman setter Zachary Kay (Little Egg Harbor, N.J./Pinelands) and sophomore setter Baylen Loosier (Pittsburgh, Pa./Pittsburgh Science & Tech Academy) assisted on 14 kills and seven kills, respectively, while each notching three digs
- Freshman defensive specialist Troy Brown (Pittsburgh, Pa./Thomas Jefferson) served up a match-high two aces against the Wolverines
- Junior middle blocker Rylan Trapp (Belleville, Ill./Belleville Township) had four kills and assisted on the Bison's only block of Game 1
- Freshman right-side hitter Julian Huerta (Bolingbrook, Ill.) finished with five digs, four kills, one assist, and one ace

- Freshman outside hitter Braeden Reedus (Blacklick, Ohio/Reynoldsburg) led Bethany on both sides of the net with four kills and four digs
- Sophomore All-PAC outside hitter Riley Burdett (Jefferson Hills, Pa./Thomas Jefferson) also added four kills for the Bison
- Sophomore middle blocker Emilio Feliciano (El Mirage, Ariz./Dysart) recorded the only ace for the Green and White
- Freshman outside hitter Tyshon Francis (McKeesport, Pa.) finished with three digs
- Loosier also reached four kills while tallying four assists
- Kay led the team with 11 more assists and earned three digs
- Ginez added two kills and a solo block to his day
The Bison are back in action on Tuesday, March 3 as they host a Presidents' Athletic Conference matchup against Geneva (Pa.) College at 6 p.m. on Joe Kurey Memorial Court inside Hummel Fieldhouse.
