Men's Lacrosse Closes Out Spring Break Trip Against Methodist

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The Bethany College men's lacrosse team fell to Methodist (N.C.) University by a final score of 24-1 in a non-conference game at Monarch Stadium

Bethany (0-6) Leaders
  • Junior midfielder Abdul Lowe (Manassas, Va./Osbourn) led the Bison offense with a goal and won two face-offs
  • Freshman midfielder Romeo Grullon (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg) recorded his first career assist and picked up a ground ball
  • Freshman midfielder Levi Connally (Prince George's County, Md./Frederick Douglass) finished with three ground balls and two caused turnovers
  • Junior defender/long-stick midfielder Griffen Carpenter (Stow, Ohio), sophomore midfielder Corrie Miller (Etters, Pa./Red Lands) and sophomore midfielder Logan Mills (Barrie North, Ontario/Eastview Secondary School) each recorded two ground balls
  • Freshman defender Samuel Sammons (Caldwell, Idaho/Vallivue) also added a caused turnover for the Green and White
  • Sophomore goalkeeper Owen Livengood (York, Pa./York Suburban) and freshman face-off specialist Darwin Ruiz (Hyattsville, Md./Northwestern) made 11 saves and eight saves, respectively
Methodist (7-1) Leaders
  • Sophomore attack Jay Legg tallied five goals, three ground balls, and two assists
  • Freshman face-off specialist Nick Ratnesar had a game-high 10 ground balls and won 18 of his 20 face-offs
  • Freshman attack Logan Garrett added three goals and two assists
The Bison are back in action on Wednesday, March 18 as they travel to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to take on La Roche (Pa.) University in a non-conference game at 4 p.m. at Baierl Athletic Complex.
