BETHANY, W.Va. - The Bethany College men's volleyball team defeated Hiram (Ohio) College by a final score of 3-0 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference match on Joe Kurey Memorial Court inside Hummel Fieldhouse.
Bethany (2-12, 1-6 PAC) earned yet another historic win by defeating Hiram (6-7, 2-3 PAC) to earn the program's first conference victory in which the Bison set new team records for the most kills in a single match with 50 and the most assists in a single match with 46. The Green and White took the first set and fell in the second, and despite facing a sizable deficit in each of the final two sets, Bethany mounted a comeback in each to complete the record-setting win in front of the home crowd.

- Sophomore All-PAC outside hitter Riley Burdett (Jefferson Hills, Pa./Thomas Jefferson) led the team with a season-high 14 kills and three aces while also tallying eight digs and an assist
- Freshman libero Tyshon Francis (McKeesport, Pa.) set a new single-match record for digs with 20 while adding two assists
- Junior middle blocker Rylan Trapp (Belleville, Ill./Belleville Township) notched a career-high 11 kills on 18 attacks and contributed two digs, two assists, two blocks, and a service ace
- Sophomore setter Baylen Loosier (Pittsburgh, Pa./Pittsburgh Science & Tech Academy) assisted a match-high 30 times and totaled six kills, four digs, two aces, and two blocks
- Junior outside hitter Tyler Johnson (Oswego, Ill.) recorded a season-high six kills and six digs along with two assists
- Freshman setter Zachary Kay (Little Egg Harbor, N.J./Pinelands) finished with a statline of a career-high eight kills, eight assists, and six digs
- Freshman middle blocker/right-side hitter Caden Johnson (Oswego, Ill.) had career-highs in digs with seven, in kills with two, and in aces with two
- Freshman setter Jason Martin (McKeesport, Pa.) added three digs, two kills, and an ace

- Senior outside hitter Cullen Sivak recorded a match-high 15 kills with 10 digs to complete the double-double
- Junior setter Darren Chiang tallied 29 assists for the Terriers
- Sophomore defensive specialist Julian Singles-Torres led the Hiram defense with 11 digs
