CARY, N.C. - The Bethany College men's lacrosse team fell to William Peace (N.C.) University by a final score of 22-2 in a non-conference game at WakeMed Park.

Bethany (0-5) Leaders

• Junior defender/long-stick midfielder Griffen Carpenter (Stow, Ohio) scored his first goal of the season to put the Bison on the board and added one caused turnover
• Freshman midfielder Levi Connally (Prince George's County, Md./Frederick Douglass) forced four Pacer turnovers and tallied 10 ground balls
• Junior midfielder Abdul Lowe (Manassas, Va./Osbourn) won seven face-offs with two ground balls
• Sophomore Academic All-PAC midfielder Chance Funari (Wheeling, W.Va./Wheeling Park) finished with two caused turnovers, two ground balls, a goal, and an assist
• Sophomore midfielder Corrie Miller (Etters, Pa./Red Lands) recorded four ground balls and one caused turnover
• Freshman face-off specialist Darwin Ruiz (Hyattsville, Md./Northwestern) added three face-off wins with one ground ball
• Sophomore goalkeeper Owen Livengood (York, Pa./York Suburban) faced 69 shots and made 21 saves

William Peace (7-1) Leaders

• Senior attack William English had a game-high 11 points with six goals and five assists
• Freshman defender Isaac Pike led the team with eight ground balls
• Freshman goalkeeper Carson McGee made two saves

The Bison are back in action on Wednesday, March 11 as they travel to Fayetteville, North Carolina to take on Methodist (N.C.) University in a non-conference game at 1 p.m. at Monarch Stadium.
