BETHANY, W.Va. - The Bethany College cross country team hosted the 2026 Bethany Invitational at the Bethany College Soccer and Equestrian Complex.

The Bethany Invitational marked its 12th consecutive year as a successful race. The annual race continues to grow with a combined 142 runners from 11 different schools competing in the women's 6K and men's 8K races. 

Two Bison competed individually and finished for the men's team. William Greenwood (Charles Town, W.Va.) completed the course in 34:32.4 Tristan Simrau (Traverse City, Mich.) finished a few minutes later in 37:09.1.

In the men's 8K, fellow Presidents' Athletic Conference member Saint Vincent College ) won the team race with four top ten finishers and 46 total places. 

Bethany's next race will be Friday, September 25th when they travel to Pittsburgh for the La Roche Invitational.
