BETHANY, W.Va. - The Bethany College cross country team hosted the 2026 Bethany Invitational at the Bethany College Soccer and Equestrian Complex.

The Bethany Invitational marked its 12th consecutive year as a successful race. The annual race continues to grow with a combined 142 runners from 11 different schools competing in the women's 6K and men's 8K races. Two Bison competed individually and finished for the women's team as Academic All-PAC senior Mary Tracey (Clarksburg, W.Va./Liberty) and multi-sport graduate student Catharina Recebeitia (Buenos Aires, Argentina) repped the hosts.. Tracey led the Green and White with a time of 31:52.7. Recebeitia completed the Bison duo shortly after with a time of 32:21.4.

 In the women's 6K, fellow Presidents' Athletic Conference member Saint Vincent College ) won the team race with two of the top three finishers and 37 total places. 

Bethany's next race will be Friday, September 25th when they travel to Pittsburgh for the La Roche Invitational.
